14/06/19 - (Week 11 - Week14) Qaezie Ayeman Ramlan (0332981) Typography FINAL PROJECT Lecture Notes Lecture 10 _ Typography in Different Medium Week 11 (14/6/19) This week, Mr. Shamsul conducted the lecture, it was on Typography In Different Mediums. We learnt on the differences between print and screen. The purpose behind typography for print was to make reading easy for the people.  When it came to typefaces on screen on the other hand, they would sometime have to be altered. This resulted open spacing within typefaces, which made the characters more recognisable. Typefaces that were used for screens at that time were Open Sans, Lato, Arial, Helvetica, Times New Roman, Times, Courier New, Courier, Verdana, Georgia, Palatino, Garamond. And all these typefaces are are called web-safe typefaces. Qaezie Ayeman Ramlan (0332981) Digital Photography & Imaging FINAL PROJECT FINAL PROJECT _ Recreation of Surrealist Art So for our final project we are to recreate a surrealist artwork from a list of artists given. And this is the art work i picked by KAREN LYNCH Work by Karen Lynch And to recreate the work we are allowed to use stock images or our own images. It took a few searches here and there but it wasn't. I like the concept of irony in the art-work where the water life is above us when instead of under us. 07/05/19 - 28/05/19 (Week 7 - Week 9) Qaezie Ayeman Ramlan (0332981) Digital Photography & Imaging PROJECT 1 Project 1 Week 8 So for project one we had to make our own surrealist photo. I had a few ideas in mind and after consulting with Mr.Patrick and Mr.Martin I decided to go for the idea of a fish chocolate ice-cream.   Idea Sketches Below are the stock images i used. Fish Magnum Ice-cream I decided to make it into a poster, i imagined it to be sold in super markets. Final Surreal Photo. After we were done with our still surreal photo, we were to animate it. Make a 5 second short animation. Unfortunately i ddint know how i could use After Effect get the desired outcome so i decided to Photo shop instead. Using the Puppet Tool and render it as a gif.
